15 Sep Vides Dizains presents KAforHR workplace innovation practices at the DigiWomen project meeting in Daugavpils

Vides Dizains was invited to present the learning and share ideas of good practices from the KAforHR project at the Erasmus+ project DigiWomen workshop on 4 September 2021. The target group of the DigiWomen project are women entrepreneurs from rural areas. In total, 20 business women from the Latgale region located in the Eastern part of Latvia participated at this meeting. In addition, representatives from the Daugavpils University and Daugavpils branch of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the expert from UAB “Sustainability for Regions” (Lithuania) participated in this event. The objective of this meeting was to present various approaches for enterprises for the identification and use of new innovative methods, including digital and HR solutions that could help businesses to become more competitive. This meeting was organized in a form of a workshop, where participants were also able to have discussions in smaller groups. During the meeting theoretical and methodical concepts were explained and good practices presented followed by participants’ presentations providing a feedback on what has been learned and how relevant it is for their own business situation.
Participants of the event expressed their satisfaction with the opportunity to gain new knowledge to use in their practice, to discuss with each other their problems and their solutions, to establish new contacts and to actively participate in the upcoming project activities. Confirmation of the expressed satisfaction were the lively discussions between the participants during coffee breaks and the time outside the program of the event. The participants parted with proposals for maintaining the established links for the implementation of new useful initiatives.
During this meeting Vides Dizains has also disseminated the information about the KAforHR project and shared information materials about its outputs.
